I. 一般会話:

  A: Hello, Dr. Smith's Office. How can I help you?
  B: _____(mention your name) speaking.  Is the doctor there?
  A: I'm sorry he is not in at the moment.
  B: Please tell him, I'll ring him at about 3pm.

  A: Ok, I'll tell him once he gets back. Thank you for ringing.
  B: Thanks, I must ring off now.

II. 単語、熟語:

•       not in at the moment - not there now

•       ring him - call him

•       ringing - calling

•       ring off - hang up, good bye
  

III. 練習問題:

  1. Using the dialogue above,

  Speaker A:  

  You work for ABS Travel and Tour. You receive a call from someone looking for the  

  manager, and he is not around.

  Speaker B:

  Call ABS Travel and look for the manager.
