Let's Talk About Anything Under the Sun
目的: To develop listening and speaking skills thru free talking.
クラスの進行方法:
The club moderator will choose one member of the club to talk about any of the topics below. You should be able to discuss your topic with a maximum time of 3 minutes. After your discussion, the other club members' will have to ask you a question or give you their comments regarding your chosen topic.
Topics:
1. What is the latest political issue about your country? Discuss it.
2. What are the common social problems in your place? Talk about it.
3. What is one interesting hobby you like to share with us? Inform us about it.
4. What foods do you like and what foods do you dislike? Why do you like and dislike those foods?
5. What is your view about homosexuality? Would you ever consider having a homosexual friend?
6. Is marriage important to you? What do you think about live-in relationships?
7. How important is beauty and youth to you? Would you ever consider having cosmetic surgery? Why or why not?
8. In choosing a lifetime partner, what is the most important quality for you? Which would you choose? Why?
a. good-looking but poor
b. ugly but rich
c. intelligent but old
d. rich but with personality disorder
10. If you will have the chance to speak before the world leaders, what will you tell them?
11. If you will only have 24 hours to live, how will you spend it?
12. If you have the chance to be famous, what field would you choose? and kind of a famous person would you like to be? (politician, movie actor, writer, etc)
13. Tell us your opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of the internet into you life.
14. What do you think about euthanasia?
15. Tell us something really funny.
